I have always believed in the magic of childhood and think that if you get your life right that magic should never end. I feel that if adults cannot enjoy a children’s book properly there is something wrong with either the book or the adult reading it. This of course, is just a smart way of saying I don't want to grow up. My favourite fruit is cherries and my favourite music is Rock and Roll and old Blues records and I am now an Australian citizen. I am left-handed and colour-blind.

I love the bookshelf! When I visit my godchildren, they keep coming to sit on my lap and we look for all of the details - the tree, the door, the stairs......there is always something to find! Great artwork!

I love the irony in you saying your colour-blind when Bookshelf is your headliner skin on this page. Too awesome. I haven't been so awed by a single artist for a very, very long time. The word will be spread, sir. :)

I think our souls must be kindred. Grown children of the magical realm, united in the knowing. :)

Colin's Thompson work is the most captivating, beautiful work. I have always read them to my third grade classes. I have always given his books to my favourite adult people. I love the magic... and the fact his stories sometimes make me cry. We love Max and the red airplane!! I'm so excited I now have a scene from How to live forever on my phone. make me smile!

I love your music palace! I can name most of the instruments, but, what is the one in the water? I'm thinking that it's an English horn because it's not a bassoon, but it seems to have a bocal.
